The weather here has been
very windy and rainy. We are feeling the
effects of the typhoon. We woke up in
the middle of the night with rain pelting us and the wind blew down the clothes
line pole out on the patio. It is still
gusty today but it isn’t raining. We
didn’t get to go to church yesterday because of the bad weather. They closed the airport down and we were
afraid the trains wouldn’t run. We don’t know exactly where the church is so we
thought we better wait until we can walk around and try to find it.
Wenji took us to a
traditional Japanese restaurant where we had to sit on a tatami mat. The food was delicious. The bathroom was outside and one had a door
on it but the urinal was just out in the open.
I decided to use the bathroom with the door on it!
Mr. Kadawaki a man who works here at the FK Green factory, keeps
bringing us presents. Yesterday he
brought us some Japanese candy and some melon drinks from a 7-11 convenience
store.
