Saturday, September 15th

We went to the store last night and spent $50 dollars on two small bags of groceries.  It is pretty funny to walk around the store and try to find the things we need.  Some things are really easy to tell what they are and other things are impossible.  We bought pancake mix and the tiniest bottle of syrup you have ever seen!  This morning for breakfast I made pancakes with chopped up bananas in them.  They were very delicious. We bought a small carton of milk that Scott said couldn’t have possible come from a cow.

It started raining last night because a strong typhoon is just south of us heading towards Korea and we are going to feel the effects of it.  The good thing is it is cooling us down!

We are trying to learn the language, but it is very hard.  It seems like we learn 5 new words and forget 6 that we learned the day before.  They talk very fast and most of it makes no sense at all.  But they are very friendly.  Everyone greets you when you walk into a business and everyone is always bowing!
