Thursday and Friday, October 4^th and 5^th

We spent these two days in Tokyo.  We went to the Meiji Shrine.  It covers 175 acres in the middle of Tokyo.  The buildings are nice, but it is the grounds that are really impressive.  They had a wedding procession that we got to witness.  The bride is the one in the white dress and the groom is to her right.  Her mother is on her left.  I was told that the father has a very small role in the wedding ceremony, probably just to pay the bill!  The men in front are to conduct the wedding and the groomsmen are following behind.
